‘Oppenheimer’ closes out awards season with Best Picture and 6 more Oscars
Christopher Nolan finally wins Best Director, Emma Stone edges out Lily Gladstone, and Ryan Gosling brings down the house with ‘I’m Just Ken.’
The Academy has to be pretty happy with this year’s Oscar ceremony. A popular movie won Best Picture. There was some late suspense with Best Actress. The show ended before 10:30 p.m. And no one got slapped.
Oppenheimer was the big winner of the night, taking home Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing and Best Original Score. At long last, Christopher Nolan’s work as a director has been honored by the Academy.
